Family Business Breakfast Series
Friday, April 12, 2019
How much should we pay family members? How do we determine what our key employees should make? How do we motivate family and employees to be the best they can be? How do we do all of this in a labor market that’s tough to find good workers? How do we align family expectations with compensation? Tough questions with different answers. At this breakfast event, we’ll learn from a local expert on the strategies used in public and private businesses and how you can utilize them in your firms to make the right decisions to keep the business moving forward, employees engaged and the family happy.
David Hirschey works with family businesses on their human resource needs to develop compensation planning, incentive plans, employee engagement tools and performance management. With a deep understanding of the wants and needs of employees in the public and private sectors, uses his 30 years of industry knowledge and consulting experience to help families find the right solutions for their business. David is an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business.
