As part of the University of St. Thomas’ Opus College of Business, the Center for Health and Medical Affairs promotes the achievement of excellence in the health care delivery system throughout the Midwest and the nation.

The work of CHMA is focused on supporting improvements in the leadership and management of health care systems through research, community outreach and the collaborative development of innovative professional and executive education programs.

The Center for Innovation in the Business of Healthcare is part of CHMA and conducts research on improvements in the healthcare value chain.

Health Care UST MBA

An M.B.A. is the recognized standard in business education. Students learn fundamental business principles and management tools that provide the foundation for critical thinking and strategic decision making. The Health Care UST MBA carries this influential degree one step further, bringing together experienced professionals from all sectors of the industry to explore how this foundation can be used to address the increasingly complex challenges you will face as a leader in the health care industry.

The Health Care UST MBA program is delivered via an innovative combination of on-campus and distance learning that connects students with experienced faculty and talented peers.  The curriculum is based on a nationally recognized competency model.
